EXPLANATION:

The story was about a small boy who was making a bird snare. One day when he was working, a bird came to him and challenged him to catch it. He accepted the bird's challenge and caught the bird in a jar and went out. His grandma took the bird and ate it in the boy's absence.  

When the boy came to know about this, he was heartbroken and left the house in depression. In the forest, he saw a magical stone and asked it to engulf him. The stone too did as the boys wish. When his grandma came to know that the stone ate the boy, she was begging to the stone to give him back.
