the moral of the poem The Snake is that we should not hurt anyone without any reason. Moreover in this poem the poet wanted to tell us that the humanity is more superior than the voice of education according to the education the snake was very poisonous and it could harm the poet so he wanted to kill him but according to the humanity does snake came there to drink the water and snake was also harmless.
