The moral of the story ‘The brave boy and the railway track’ is ‘Fortune favours the brave’.

EXPLANATION:

There is a famous saying of Swami Vivekananda, ‘They only live who live for others’. The great sage always emphasised that ‘Strength is life Weakness is death’. In the story ‘The brave boy and the railway track’, the small boy did not pay any heed to his personal need or the dangers he was subject to. His only aim was to stop the approaching train and save it from a disastrous accident.

Heart and soul he strove to save the people of the train notwithstanding the perils he came across. When Mother Nature witnesses such dedication and selflessness among her children she too lends a helping hand. God also helps those who help themselves and here the brave boy was trying to save the lives of others. So God helped him in his mission and the moral can be set as, ‘Fortune favours the brave’.
