♣️ The rule by the people means that all the people are free to make decisions for themselves and for the coùntry. But it is not possible that everybody will gather and take the decision. Our Country have nearly 125 million of peoples.

♣️ Thus, Representatives are selected through elections and the majority party is selected as ruling party to form the government. This government makes the decisions regarding rules and regulations of the country.

♣️This is also known as Indirect democracy, where people choose theur leaders who will work on their behalf for the country.

♣️ In India, Now the ruling party is BJP whose leader Narendra Modi is the prime minister and Rest are cabinet ministers. The important decisions are taken by the houses of Parliament.
