A potter lived in a village; he was a foolish man by nature. One day he was very tired and asked his wife to bring palm wine. He drank too much of palm wine. Later, he went to backyard to see his donkey. He found that his donkey was missing. So he went inside the forest and found an animal and tied it at his backyard.
He mistakenly tied a tiger at his backyard. For his bravery act, the potter became very famous in his village. On hearing this news, the king of the country announced him as the General of the Army. The king gave him nice house to sleep, a horse to ride, and new clothes to wear. On that night, the potter did not sleep because he did not know how to ride the horse. When the enemies attacked his country, as the general of army, the potter want to lead the army. Being afraid he held a young tree tightly. By holding tightly, the tree uprooted from the ground. On seeing this incident, the enemies thought that the potter was a very brave warrior and run out of the country. This is the humorous incident referred in this story."
