It is a rather technical formulation and there is an even more strict mathematical proof. There are also lots of experimental confirmations. It is as solid as things can be in physics. I know it must be true and accept that but nevertheless all my intuitions keep saying it can't. Actually even Einstein could not belief this was how nature would work. But I am wrong and Einstein was wrong.
