  • Multiplicative inverse of a = 1/a .

So, let multiplicative inverse of given number is x .

then,

→ Original number * multiplicative inverse = 1

→ (12/15) * x = 1

→ x = 1/(12/15)

→ x = 1 * (15/12)

→ x = (15/12) (Ans.)

Hence, the multiplicative inverse of given number is equal to (15/12) .
