What is the multiplicative inverse for negative rational numbers?

Multiplicative inverse of a number c is "the" Number which after multiplying with c gives answer=1

So multiplicative inverse of c is 1/c.

If the negative rational Number is -p/q q is not 0
then its multiplicative inverse is -q/p.
