The product of a nonzero number and its multiplicative inverse is  1

Multiplicative inverse of a  is  1/a   where  a≠0

Multiplicative inverse of a/b  is  b/a   where  a , b≠0

Hence multiplicative inverse of 2/5​   is 5/2

Verification:

(2/5) (5/2)  = 10/10  = 1
