The multiplicative inverse of a number is the number by which when we multiply that number then final result is 1.


Let , multiplicative inverse of ( -3/7 ) is x.


Now,


⇒ ( -3/7) x = 1


⇒ -3x = 7


⇒ x = 7 / -3


∴ x = -7/3.


Hence , multiplicative inverse of ( -3/7 ) is ( -7/3 )
