\huge\sf\blue{Question:} \:

What is multiplicative inverse of :

2 \frac{3}{11} \times \frac{1}{3}

\huge\sf\blue{Solution:} \:

What is multiplicative inverse?

★ Multiplicative inverse is the reciprocal of the number for example: b/a = a/b. a/b is the multiplicative inverse.

In this question first we will solve the question then do it's inverse.

 \displaystyle{ \implies \: 2 \frac{3}{11} \times  \frac{1}{3}  }

  • Converting mixed fraction to improper fraction.
  • 11 X 2 + 3
  • 22 + 3
  • 25

 \displaystyle{ \implies \: \frac{25}{11}  \times  \frac{1}{3}  } \:

 \displaystyle{ \implies \:   \frac{25}{33} } \:

  • 25/33 is the result

❖ Now we will do it's multiplicative inverse.

 \displaystyle{ \implies \: \:  \frac{25}{33}  =  \frac{33}{25}  } \:

∴ The multiplicative inverse is 33/25.
