The n-factor of a disproportionation reaction is given by the formula-

n=n1∗n2/n1+n2

Disproportionation reactions are the reactions in which oxidizing and reducing agents are same or the same element from the same compound is getting oxidized as well as reduced. N-factor of a disproportionation reaction can only be calculated using a balanced chemical reaction.
