Well the answer of your question is “ Nagar Palika” It is some time also known as Municipality or town municipality .
It is actually the local body for urban area which handle the administration of a city. Normally it handles the city of more than 1 lac population , but the exceptions is there as now a day if the population is low than 1 lac then it may also called the Nagar Palika. This is actually done under the Panjayat Raj system
