The blood vessels which are formed by capillaries are Mesenteric veins which progresses to form the Portal veins. These veins enter the liver and realign into portal venules and then back again to capillaries.

The Mesenteric vein drains blood from the small intestines and near the pancreas, it forms the Portal vein, which carries blood from the intestinal tract, gall bladder, pancreas and spleen to the liver.
