India has gifted its former Indian Coast Guard (ICG) Ship Varaha to Sri Lanka. The patrol ship was in the service of the island nation since 2006 and it was rechristened ‘Sagara’ by Sri Lanka. Now, it will help Sri Lanka to maintain maritime security in the region. ICG Varaha is 75 m in length and 11 m in width.
