The name of the vast plains of pampas is 'The Pampas'. It is one of the largest fertile grassland plain, covering almost one-third area of Argentina's land area. Pampa is in fact Quechua ( flat plain). The pampas extends for 750,000 square kilometers from the Atlantic to the Andes and continues into Uruguay.
