What is the national game of India?
Answer:- HOCKEY.
Hockey is a sport where 2 teams play against each other by trying to puck into the opponent's goal using a hockey stick.

Types of hockey:-

1) Bandy- It is played with a ball on Bandy rink

2) Field hockey- It is played on grassy arena, gravel or sand based places with a hard ball.

3) Ice hockey- It is played between 2 teams of skaters on a large flat area of ice, using puck (vulcanized rubber disc) This puck is frozen before high-level games to decrease the amount of bouncing and friction on the ice.

4) Ice sledge hockey- It is a ice hockey for players with physical disabilities

5) Road/street hockey- This is a dry-land variant of ice and roller hockey played on a hard surface.

India's national game is Hockey because, India won total 6 Gold medals in Hockey in Olympics.
There are 2 types of Hockey -
1 ) Field Hockey.
2) Ice Hockey.
Indian team plays Field Hockey.
