India is a land of unimaginable diversities and hence has NO national language. There are two languages however, Hindi and English which are considered 'official languages'. This means that all governmental documents are to be printed in both Hindi and English along with maybe the regional languages as per requirement. There is no such 'National Language' since such a concept undermines the unity of the country and might seem like imposing majoritarianism on the rest of the ethical groups.
