National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, 2005. National Rural Employment Guarantee Act 2005 (or, NREGA No 42, later renamed as the "Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act", MGNREGA), is an Indian labour law and social security measure that aims to guarantee the 'right to work'.

The Provisions of NREGA 2005 are follows :-

★ It is the bestest step of government as because this act provides 100 days assured employment to every poor people who belongs to Rural areas of India.

★ Government plans to take step for the welfare of womens in this act One third jobs are reserved for the women of India.

★ As a bonus if the rural people don’t get job under 15 days then Indian government provides daily wages to the People.

★ The Indian Government established CEGF and SEGF for giving proper wages to the People.

★ This scheme cover about 600 district of the India.
