Explanation:

Carbon can form "single bond, double bond and triple bond" with each other. The bond length of single bond is more than double bond and smallest is the bond length of triple bond. All these bonds are covalent bond.

Covalent bond are the type of bonds in non metals have multiple valency. If there is a series of double and single bond, then it resonates hence, the bond is bigger than double and smaller than single bond.
