Light always travels in a stright line.

It can neither be bent nor be forced to reduce its intensity ( except some special cases )

Light behaves as a particle as well as wave , therefore it shows the dual nature of radiation.

Answer:

light travels in a straight line

let's understand with an example. take a candle and lighten it. now take a cardboard roll and put one end near the candle. now look through the other end. you can see light. now bend the roll and repeat the last process of placing the roll. look through the roll. you will not be able to see light.

this proves that light travels in a straight line and this is called rectilinear propagation of light.

HOPE IT HELPS!!!!
