Answer:

x^2+3x+1=0

Comparing the quadratic equation x^2+3x+1=0 with the quadratic equation ax^2+bx+c=0

we get, a=1,b=3,c=1

The discriminant = b^2-4ac

= (3)^2-4*1*1

= 9-4

= 5>0

The nature of the roots are real and unequal
