A power plant that produces electricity by rotation of components delivers current in form of AC.

But the power plants that use static components to produce electricity provide current in form of DC.

So all power plants including Thermal power plants, Nuclear power plants, Hydro Power plants and Wind farms delivers current in form of AC.

Only solar cells produce and deliver current in form of DC.
