Every displacement time graph represents the nature of motion of the body. For a stationary body, the displacement time graph is a straight line parallel to the time axis. The slope of the line is zero that indicates the velocity of the body is zero

velocity means the rate of change of displacement. non uniform motion means the velocity of the body is not a constant. if the velocity of the body were constant then the rate of change of displacement would have been a constant that is that is displacement would change linearly with respect to time co-ordinate. since velocity changes the variation of displacement would be such that it will won't be linear. it can be any curve depending upon the situation but cannot be a straight line
