The nature of the distance time graph for uniform and non-uniform motion of an object are as follows -
- Uniform motion : When an object is in uniform motion, it travels equal amount of distance in equal time intervals. That's why, the time distance graph for uniform motion is always a straight line.
- Non-uniform motion : When an object is a non uniform motion it travels an inqual amount of distance in the equal tim intervals. That's why, the time distance graph for non-uniform motion is always a curve.
