I study in class 8, but I don't know How I know this,
9x2 + 6x + 1 = 0
=> 9x2 + 3x + 3x +1 = 0
=> 3x(3x + 1) + 1(3x + 1) = 0
=> (3x + 1)(3x + 1) = 0
Since, the result is 0, one of the terms on the LHS has to be 0
means that 3x +1 = 0
=> 3x = 1
=> x = 1/3
therefore x has only one root, that is x= 1/3, since both of the terms on the LHS are the same.
