What is the need for reserving seats in representative bodies for SC ST and women ?

these people and women have been restricted to handle high positions for a Long time and it is the responsibility of the Government to change this situation and creating a favourable chances for them to come out of their circles

even today w cannot expect a equal wages for women a compared to men, and in many parts of our country, mainly in rural areas the low caste people are still discriminated ,then how come we anticipate a equalitarian society in the future...that's why we need reservations
