Because when we grow same kind of crop the nutrients of field loose faster on the another words we can say that soil lose it's fertility faster. So, The farmers also grow leguminous plant in between other crop because the leguminous plant help to increase nitrogen. And they also use another method inter- copping.

There is still a need to improve the amount of food that is being produced.The growing demand of people has crossed the line at which the food is produced and to keep this pace many revolutions took place to equalise the population's demand with the food consumed.Then due to better medical equipment the death rate decreased all around the world and it does not only end with this ,many people all around the world like different types of tastes and this is why there is a need for producing so many variety of crops.Scientists are finding other ways to grow more crops of different varieties to keep the pace with the human race.
