Answer:

Nephron is made up of :

1) Glomerulus : The glomerular walls are semipermeable, allowing smaller molecules such as water, metabolic wastes, Gulcose, and electrolytes to pass through and collect in the capsule for filtration

2) Bowman's Capsule : It's function is to collect the filtrate from the Glomerulus, passing it on to the Proximal Convoluted Tubules

3) Proximal Convoluted Tubule : reabsorbs most of the water and ions from the urinary space back into the body, which is a process called tubular reabsorption.

4) Loop of Henle : The primary site of sodium reabsorption in the Loop of Henle, which is impermeable to water, reabsorbs sodium ion, potassium ion and chloride ions makes the urine concentrated.

5)Distal Convoluted Tubule : Its function is to secrete urine into the calyx of the kidney.

6) Collecting Duct : It participates in electrolyte and fluid balance through reabsorption and excretion, processes regulated by the hormones.
