What is the net force acting on a car running at a constant velocity of 70 km/h (a) on a flat road (b) on an uphill road ?

1)F= Mg(u+1)^(1/2)

2)F=Mg(u+1)

Explanation:

in first case the resultant Force is the contact force i.e resultant of normal reaction with friction, no force acts as velocity is constant so acceleration is '0'

In second case it is same as first case the only difference is a component of gravity adds up with friction.
