Greenland does not have a "new name".

Greenland is called Kalaallit Nunaat in the Greenlandic language, which is the official language of Greenland.  It literally means Land of the Kalaallit, the native inhabitants of the island.

Most countries have names in their native languages that we do not use in English.  Russia is Росси́я (Rossija), Germany is Deutschland, Japan is 日本 (Nippon or Nihon) and so on.  Nobody expects you to start referring to Germany as Deutschland when speaking in English just because it is their official native name, and nobody expects you to start referring to Greenland as Kalaallit Nunaat in English.
