NEWTON'S FIRST LAW OF MOTION STATES THAT A BODY AT TEST WILL BE AT REST AND A BODY IN MOTION WILL BE GOING IN SAME DIRECTION WITH SAME SPEED UNTIL A EXTERNAL FORCE IS APPLIED ON IT

Heya!

Here is yr answer.......

Newton was a great scientist in 16 and 17 century.. and he stated three laws which are related to motion. They are :-

1. Newton's first law of motion.

2.Newton's second law of motion.

3.Newton's third law of motion.

=> Newton's First law of motion :
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Newton's first law of motion is also called as the law of inertia... Newton's first law of motion is often stated as,
AN OBJECT AT REST STAYS AT REST AND AN OBJECT IN MOTION STAYS IN MOTION WITH THE SAME SPEED AND IN THE SAME DIRECTION UNLESS ACTED UPON BY AN UNBALANCED FORCE.
=> Newton's second law of motion :-
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Newton's second law of motion states that-

THE ACCELERATION OF AN OBJECT IS DEPENDENT ON TWO VARIABLES -

(i) THE NET FORCE ACTING UPON THE OBJECT

(ii) THE MASS OF THE OBJECT.

=> Newton's third law of motion :-
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Newton's third law of motion states that-
FOR EVERY ACTION THERE IS AN EQUAL AND OPPOSITE REACTION.
Hope it helps...
