A BODY AT REST TENDS TO REMAIN AT THE REST AND THE BODY IN THE UNIFORM MOTION TENDS TO REMAIN IN UNIFORM MOTION UNLESS AND UNTIL AN EXTERNAL FORCE ACTS ON IT

Explanation:

Unless and Until we will not apply external force, the object which is in rest will not move and the object in uniform motion will not stop

Answer:

the Newton's first law says is based on law of inertia

it states that

the tendency of an object to maintain its state of motion or remains at rest until an external unbalanced force acts on it

example

when a bus starts moving we get a forward push as our body tries to maintain its state of rest but the unbalanced force of moving bus acts on us giving us a forward push
