Given: Here we have given the series 1, 3,8,19 ?

To find: we have to find the last term of the given series

Solution:

Here if we we observe the given series carefully we see the relation between 1st and 2nd term is that if we multiply 2 with first term and then add 1 with it we will get the 2nd term

1×2+1=3

similarly we will multiply 2nd term with 2 and add 2 in it to get 3rd term

3×2+2=8

similarly we will multiply 3nd term with 2 and add 3 in it to get 4rd term

8×2+3=19

similarly we will multiply 4nd term with 2 and add 4 in it to get 5rd term

19×2+4=42

Hence the answer is 42

Hence the option C is the correct answer
