The normal range is 4,500 to 10,000 cells per microliter (cells/mcL). When it is low then it is likely to have infection.

Normal values would vary based on the age and gender.

CBC determines if any increases or decreases in your blood cell counts. Lab report will tell you normal value range for your age and gender.
