What is the normal reaction along inclined plane?

The normal reaction is the resultant reaction of a surface that is working against gravity.

If you have a flat surface, the normal reaction of the surface (which is necessary as not to let the object fall through) is the same magnitude as the force of gravity. While on an incline plane, a portion of that force gets converted to a downward driving force, and the normal force diminishes proportionally.

Still, the normal force prevents the object from falling through the surface it rests on. On an incline plane, part of the object’s weight pushes against the surface, and part of it pushes the object; the normal force is the equal and opposite force of the surface pushing against the object.
