Total adenine + thymine in both the strands become 85% .

So the sum of guanine and cytosine will be (100–85)%=15%

As the total no. of bases are 1000.

No. of adenine + thymine will be 85% of 1000= 850 bases. And no. of cytosine+ guanine will be 15% of 1000= 150 bases.

Adenine joins by forming two H bonds with thymine. Therefore, 850 bases will join by 850*2 bonds = 1700 H bonds.

Guanine joins to cytosine by forms 3 H bonds. Therefore, 150 bases will form 150*3 bonds = 450 bonds.

total no. of H bonds formed in B-DNA of 1000 bp length is 1700+450 = 2150 H bonds.
