We know that 1 mole of any substance contains almost 22.7 litres of the volume at STP ( standard temperature and pressure) .

Volume = No. of Moles × 22.7 L

4 L = n × 22.7 L

n = 4/22.7

n = 0.17 moles

As we know that, To find no. of Molecules we multiply the no. of Moles to the Avogadro's no.

No. of Molecules = No. of Moles × NA

No. of Molecules = (0.17) × 6.022 × 10²³

No. of Molecules = 1.023 × 10²³

Hence,

No. of Molecules in 4 L of CH4 at STP = 1.023 × 10²³.
