No. of moles = Given mass / molar mass

n = m/ M

n = 0.64 / 64 = 0.01 mol

S= 32 , O2 = 2 × 16 = 32

SO2 = 32 + 2 × 16 = 64

Given weight of SO₂ = 0.64 grams

Gram molecular weight of SO₂ = 64 grams

Number of moles of SO₂ = given weight/molecular weight = 0.64/64 = 0.01

Thus,  0.64g of SO₂ consists 0.01 moles.

Hope it helps!!
