in eukaryotes linear dna is present so no of phosphodiester bonds= total no of nucleotides-2 in this case no of nucleotides=2×300=600 . so no of phosphodiester bonds =600-2=598

Answer:

Total no. of phosphodiester bonds in DNA of eukaryotes having 300 base pairs is 598. actually phosphodiester bond is a kind of chemical bonding that helps to join sugar molecules in DNA. so as we have 300bp so no of bonds will be 299 but we will double it because we have double stranded DNA so 299+299= 598.
