Displacement = shortest distance between the initial and final pt
Distance = Actual path travelled..
so we can conclude that if object is performing linear motion with uniform velocity then DISPLACEMENT = DISTANCE
But if it travels on curved path then
DISPLACEMENT < DISTANCE
So, Disp. / Distance is less than or equal to 1
