As we know that Speed= Distance travelled/ Time
Velocity=displacement/Time

When an object moves in a straight line, the distance travelled will be equal to magnitude of displacement.
so the ratio of velocity and speed will be always in the ratio of 1: 1

Answer:The ratio is 1:1 because the distance travelled will be equal to magnitude of displacement.
