The full form of RTI is Right To Information.

The right to Information Bill, 2005 was passed by the Lok Sabha on May 11, 2005 and by the Rajya Sabha on May 12, 2005 and received the assent of the President of India on June 15, 2005 and came to force on October 12.

This act helps the people know the information from the government offices and officials., etc .

According to this act a man have right to know about the researches done , any official documents of government, projects going to be released by government or any private investigations .

This act enables transparency and accountability in working of government and make our democracy work in real sense for people .

Its basic objective is to empower the citizens and to set up a practical regime
