“Governor” is gender-neutral unless you're speaking a language which doesn't have gender-neutral nouns. (While “governatrix” was used in the past, it's now obsolete; “governess” means a tutor for hire.) And the female equivalent of a monk is a nun (unless you're playing D&D, in which “monk” is gender-neutral).

hope it will help you❤

The governor is the common gender noun that is a word for male as well as a female government official.

However, there is a feminine name for the governor that is a governess.

It is usually used for the female and is used for entirely different meaning.

The governess is the term used for the female mentor, tutor, etc. ....
