There is no opposite gender of the teacher.

Teaching is a profession. A profession has no gender. It is a job.

A gender is something that distinguishes a male from a female. A profession has got nothing to do with that. A profession requires skill and talent. Anybody can have that.

For example- When we say doctor we don't refer to a gender. We refer to anyone who has gone to medical school and has a medical certificate.
