Well, photons are something that don't have a shape, we don't know yet what photons actually are like, but Goldstein in his paper published and wrote about an approximation of the size of these photons along with Max Planck and told that these photons might have a packet size of order of 10^-32 m which is just 2 order higher than the known Planck length.

I don't know though how they came to this conclusion of defining the size of the photon. But it's incredibly small, and not at all spherical something that we all thought of at some point of time.
