What is the overall percentage needed to get medical subjects in CBSE schools....or is it different in d8fferent schools

Yes there is no denying that different schools prefer there own criteria of marks. But yes if talking about average marks then I think you have to get atleast and approximately percentage between 85% - 88% and above. Then I guess you can get admission in any school and of course of medical stream.

Every school has its own merit list depending upon the percentage of candidates . The minimum percentage for go to the science stream is around 60% .
