The Oxidation State of Flourine is  -1 sice flourine is a most electronegative atom than oxygen

diliphalderdgp: all ans are o.k flu is more e.n then oxy. so oxygen fluride [ OF2] formed. IN this case the compnd HOF unstable but F IS -1 state.

Answer:

+1

Explanation;

Oxidation state of fluorine in HOF. What should be the oxidation state of F in HOF. As fluorine is the most electronegative element in the periodic table, it should be −1. But when I googled it, I found that many sources say it is +1 based on the fact that it is an oxidising agent.
