Hi,
There are many verbs which needs an object to close such as -
Say
Provide
Give etc etc.
The construction of sentence with such verbs is like -
“Mail me this file” or “Mail this file to me” and it can never be only “mail me”
“Say the story to me” or “tell me the story” and it can never be “say me”
Same with your “provide” verb. It should have an object to close the sentence. Eg -
“Provide me/him some space” or “Provide some space to me/him” and it should never be “Provide me/us/him/her/you”
Basically it is verb+subject+object. And thus you close the sentence.
