where, s= distance travelled (height)
u= initial velocity(here u=0)
a= acceleration due to gravity (9.8m/s^2)
t= time taken
s = 0×10 + (1/2)×9.8×10×10
= 980/2 = 490m
Equations of motion are valid only when acceleration is constant and motion is constrained to a straight line.
